Concept of the race electric transformer Audi

The PB18 e-Tron twin model was developed at Audi’s newly created designer loft in Malibu as part of an internal program exploring design ideas for possible future production models.
In general, the concept demonstrates the typical proportions of a mid-engine supercar without an engine with a large volume, usually installed right behind the saloon. Some features of the novelty are borrowed from E-Tron Quattro. PB 18 The E-Tron uses the same rear view cameras as the E-Tron Quattro. They are much thinner than ordinary exterior mirrors. E-Tron will offer cameras as an option when it goes on sale, although the technology has not yet been approved in the United States.
Unmanned driving? Only not here. This development will not move an inch without a driver behind the wheel. The driver sits on the left side of the car when there is a passenger, but the seat can slide to the middle of the cabin to make the PB18 feel like a racing car with one seat.

Thanks to the through-wiring technology that penetrates the automotive industry from the aviation sector, this configuration eliminates the mechanical components of the steering and braking systems, for example, the steering column that normally connects the steering wheel to the steering rack. In this application, the steering wheel turns into what is essentially a large dial that electronically rotates the wheels, sending the input directly to the steering rack – this is like a more advanced version of the touchpad in the notebook.
The electric transmission consists of a solid-state battery pack that feeds two electric motors on the front axle and one mounted at the rear of the car. Three power sources send 670 horsepower to 4 wheels. The maximum torque is 830 Nm.
Audi PB18 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h for 2 seconds and claims that the maximum range of motion is about 500 km of track. Charging for 800 volts charges the battery in about 15 minutes.
Solid-state batteries are not yet produced, so the above figures are largely hypothetical. Audi is working on making them a reality since the 2020s.Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi Future technology Concept of the race electric transformer Audi
